Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares
Anyone just see that? Most amusing. The poor "head chef" in the restaurant had a month of being berated and bollocked constantly by Gordon almost to the point of tears and then after all that he gets sacked! He deserved it though, he couldn;t even cook an omlette!
Guy was a fecking ***** with a fridge full of food poisoning, deserved everything he got, gordon ramsay is a top guy if you ask me, standards like that is worth everything these days

I can't help likeing Ramsey. When you get it right, he does praise you, get it wrong and you get bollocked. Simple really.
"If it's brown, its cooked, if it's black, its fooked" = excellent

Next weeks one looks good - place in Ambleside - if you've been to Ambleside, you'll know it - on west exit of Ambleside, it is the stone-built mill looking place with a big waterwheel on one side.
Didn't eat there when I was in Ambleside, and I suspect I'll be glad I hadn't. Sure I read some controversy in the paper about next weeks episode....

I was just reading Gordon Ramsey's interview in the Radio Times - apparantly they had over 600 restaurants apply to be on the series - what the hell does that say about the restaurant business?
Great series - GR is a top bloke - quality chef, tells it like it is. It's a shame there aren't a few more like him.

From: Drink, drink, wherever you may be, we are the drunk and disorderly (owner of 5 fairy tokens)
At the pub where I worked we used to get fed once we'd finished work, and we'd go and eat it in the bar. Often there'd still be customers sitting drinking, and it reassured them if they saw the staff eating the food that had been cooked as they knew that thre can't have been anything wrong, but some places food hygiene standards take the pi$$ (some of the things my mates have mentionned from places they've worked, ewwww).
Great program.one thing though,he's a better chef than he was a football player.he was pish for Glascow Rangers.

Great program. GR simply speaks his mind, and is usually correct in what he says, even if it is spiced up with a few Fs and Bs.
The funniest bit was when GR was talking to the owner saying things were not going well, and all she could do was iron the table clothes! No wonder it was failing. If I was GR I would have walked at that point!
I recon they only had that one full night due to the fact that everyone thought GR was cooking.

Hahaha that program was hilarious, the chef in question was a real thick ******* too. Gordon was right to shout like hel at him, the dumb sod nearly got that women's restaurant closed down for ever, and all the money she'd put into it too! He deserved a good hiding if you ask me, cheeky git.
Actually, you may all want to read this....

Just goes to show that what we see on tv usually is the contrived, manipulated, biased version of events that make good tv viewing.....
eg,
During filming, Ramsay -- famous for his fiery temper and reputation for hurling abuse at his staff -- had asked what Tim's signature dish was and instructed him to make it. But the only scallops available were no longer fresh and had been put on the side ready to be thrown away.
Tim explained: "I'm sure he knew they were off. He said they didn't look good, but told me to go ahead.
"I was too nervous to argue but I never thought he would eat one."
Ramsey did, and soon after was violently sick. Tim added: "I felt terrible. I thought, `Oh God I've poisoned Gordon Ramsay', but he said not to worry, it would make great television. When the cameras are on he is a real hard so-and-so, but when the cameras were off he was a bit different, a bit more relaxed."

Good program, different attitude towards the staff to the previous week as well for all those who slated him for showing off to the cameras.
Head chef was a useless idiot and should have been fired after a month. No man management skills and total lack of motivation came across.
Certainly makes better TV than all the other toss that was on last night.
