Woman drives into my wall and claims against me?

Woman drives into my wall and claims against me?
I can't believe this.
Came home yesterday to find that my stone wall had been hit in the corner by someone. The impact knocked down several stones to the edge of a low wall up against the corner of my drive. No contact details left - approx £50 worth of damage.
Had a call from the Police this afternoon confirming that they had witnessed the damage being done by one of my neighbours (further up the lane) and kindly give me her details and confirmed that she had hit the wall trying to pass their police car coming down the lane.
Ring the woman up, turns out to be a mad french woman who has now threaten to sue me for damaging her car???
She has told her insurance that my wall has been built in the highway and I should be responsible for paying for the damage to her car and to repair my own wall.
The wall has been there for over 18months and abutts up against my neighbours grass banking.

Post a picy of the wall so we can see if in fact you built it in the middle of the road or not ....please

Yes, preferably with the French lady standing next to your wall in a see-through mac
I'd like to see this wall built in the middle of the road too, you must have some high up friends on the planning committee to get that passed

I imagine the insurance assesor will chuckle when he reads the answer to the question
'Approximately how fast was the wall traveling when it collided with your car?'

Phew.
The french tart came down yesterday with her 'partner'
Partner turned to her and said 'how the hell did you hit that'
Turned to me and said he would repair the wall ASAP.
Over £500 worth of damage to her car - ha ha ha
