What camera types do they have in the mobile police vans......?
I was retunring from powerstation today and went under a bridge on the A419 that had a mobile camera van
My radar / laser detector didn't go off so I'm really, really hoping that it wasn't active.

The vans round where I live operate on them, so no radar or laser signals are given

Just to clarify, These are what your looking for:
It's a similar triggering system as used by truvello cameras. There maybe whites lines as well, they maybe not (as in pic). Not to be confused with the inductive loops used for traffic lights.
If they are operative...you'll see a camera van parked nearby
