What camera types do they have in the mobile police vans......?
 

I was retunring from powerstation today and went under a bridge on the A419 that had a mobile camera van :(

My radar / laser detector didn't go off so I'm really, really hoping that it wasn't active.

Was more than likely a tax and reg plate reader van.Checking if people have insurance,if its nicked etc...If your radar/laser didnt pick it up i wouldnt worry about it.

My Euro 550 doesn't pick up the mobile scamera vans around here. I'm not sure if it's broken? Time for a trade up perhaps?

Could be they are working of the ds2 strip in the road (look for 3 black lines in the road)

The vans round where I live operate on them, so no radar or laser signals are given :(

It's a similar triggering system as used by truvello cameras. There maybe whites lines as well, they maybe not (as in pic). Not to be confused with the inductive loops used for traffic lights.

If they are operative...you'll see a camera van parked nearby
