Recommend an album/What you listening too?
I'm in need of some new tunes. I find myself continually listening to Foo Fighters album (can't think name) and the Chillis (Californication and By The Way)
I recently bought The Hives album after a recommendation by a friend but apart from a couple I find it a bit ear-bleeding.
Can anyone recommend albums from bands along the lines of the Chillis or Foos? Not too keen on Travis and Coldplay as I find them a bit too slow and a bit depressing.
Anyone got Liberteens (spelling) what are they like?
Whats in your CD player now?

CD's are such a waste of money and such a terrible old fashioned format, the last proper album I bought was
"Never Never Land" by Unkle on picture disc and it kicks ***, I'd advise you have a listen via your fav peer to peer network and go and buy a real copy on vinyl.

Got to be slipknot!
I had it on the sterio before, full blast, WHOAA! The subs were making the CD skip!
I don't know of any other CD that can do that??!
Good way to kill some stress/cows/sheep/humans etc.
Takes some getting into however

Try some earlier Chilis stuff - Uplift **** Party Plan and Mothers Milk are both good. Also Mother Love Bone, Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam are worth checking out if you like Seattle stuff.

Hi Edd,
If you like Chilis and Foos then some of the stuff in my car might grab you. A couple of days ago I emptied a few out of the car -
Chemical Brothers - Surrender
Audioslave - Audioslave
Chilis - Blood Sugar Sex Magik
Radiohead - The Bends
Dennis Leary - No cure for cancer
Pearl Jam - Ten (pure genius!)
and loaded up the 6 disk with the following;
1. Puddle of Mudd - Come Clean
2. Temple of the Dog (ooooh yes )
3. Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger
4. Nirvana - Nevermind
5. System of a Down - Toxicity & an earlier one - Short and mad albums so I crammed two onto one disc with a couple of not-so-good tracks removed
6. Eric Idle sings Monty Python
I'd recommend all of them
Cheers

Guns'N'Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Jeff Foxworthy - Greatest Bits (He's an American comedian... Jasper Carrott meets the Dukes of Hazard)
The Cars - Complete Greatest Hits
My next purchase will probably be the Thompson Twins - Platinum & Gold Collection or The Clash - Singles.
I'd buy some more REM but the songs I want are spread out over at least three CDs which pisses me orf to no end.
Bonkers.
