Bonfires

Would it be out of order to have one today?

Would ask the immediate neighbours (ie 1 either side) but cant be arsed to walk down the entire lane and ask

???

I usually wait until after dark as the smoke is less likely to be identified as mine and most people also have their windows closed/ washing in etc..

I'd wait until after 6pm.I don't know if this is some sort of unwritten rule but one I've been taught all the same.If neighbours have got washing out then let them know first.

Just watch out for people hanging their washing out ....

If they are smokers they won't mind their clothes stinking of bonfire but otherwise they may object
