What are you doing with the extra hour of daylight in the evenings?
This week I have been mainly being destructive in the evenings, last night being no exception. My mate Joe had ripped the interior of a boat out so we had a huge pile of wood to get rid of. "Hmmm" we said "How about a little bonfire?"
This is the result
To get an idea of scale here is Joe shielding his eyes from the intense heat:
Then it started to die down a bit:
So we gave it more fuel
It was still raging a couple of hours later
We're already wondering what we can destroy tonight?
Aren't the lighter evenings fun?

The extra daylight is being used to take the hound for a walk in the woods behind the house, which she enjoys, especially as more wildlife is starting to appear (chipmunks and deer being the main ones we've seen this week).
The new BBQ is set up and will be used at some point this week due to more daylight. I'm sure some garden work will occur soon too.
When the bike returns from it's tune-up I'll be taking it out for a spin as well.

Not cycling in the dark is nice, I suspect I will be mowing soon as well, what joy !
Plus the wife has bought a 1967 Fiat 500F which we pick up on Saturday, so I supect there will be oxidised Italian metal in my evenings for the next few months as it isnt exactly concourse.

Running that little bit longer now as more light = more pain lol. The dog is enjoying it tho, gives me something to target (no not shooting it!!!) and attempt to catch up.
