I saw that video too and how the girl managed to pass her test after... Wait. Oh you want to be a driving instructor? Being a construction worker or a mechanic has a much better setting.

My friend learned with BSM. Problem was when he passed he was obliged to work for them for around 6 months. He had to pay them 300 quid a weeek to use their car.
Now he has bought a BMW Mini and has given them the middle digit

Think the BSM Instructor scheme involves being franchised to them.
Depending on your location, the DSA ( Driving Standards Association ) at Tolworth could be a good starting point. If not there are various instructor colleges around the country.

If you want to be a driving instructor, get a car, fit it out with dule control, call your self a driving instructorish sort of name, get your company name printed onto some magnetic strips and place them all over your car, (I would say an oppropriate car would be a toyota corrola, they will never break down) put an advert in the yellow pages start your name with AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA so it will be at the top (more publicity) and also drive around your town..
Your prep work is now done. Take the latest months copy of FHM, bottle/can of stella, deck chair on a freshly cut lawn (it's a sunny day remember!) with mobile in close vessinity and simply wait for your business to come through.
Yep, if you follow my rules I will save you 1000's!! (you may want to add an extra nought!! )
Just drive around and say you've been an instructor for years, there's no difference!
Bored?
Yes.

'i thought them companys gave you a car to use for free??'
The only reason they advertise for driving instructor courses is to get money out of you PERIOD. Its around 2 grand to train then they give you a car to use whilst paying them 300 nicker a week. Sounds good? NOT!

In all honesty, I don't think you need to be a qualified instructor to teach people to drive. If you want to go the qualified way thats up to you but it will cost you thousands (literally) and my instructors say the tests are very hard to pass. You would be dealing with the DSA, they are just legal money thives.
It's not up to you who passes or fails, thats the examiners desission. Not the instructors fault.
The way driving tests are, I wouldn't take someone as passing their test a guaranteed way to say they are saft for the roads, I'm a safe driver and I've still not passed. They are only interested in filling government quotas if someone says they have passed take it with a pinch of salt, at the end of the month if they have failed too many people, then they will have to pass more, if it's at the begining or in the middle then they can to what the f**k they like..

Unlike Germany, there is no law to say you have to take so many lessons from an approved instructor before you take the test. That is unless the law has changed and I missed it. There is also no reason why you can't be taught by an experienced qualified driver. In that case, Chaos is probably right in what he said about driving instructors and their qualifications.
