I'm off to Edinburgh tomorrow for a stag do this weekend - has anyone got any tips of where to go or where to avoid?

I could do with some 70's gear for Saturday as well any tips?

Never been before so any tips appreciated!

Don't know if its still there, but seek out the Western Bar at the far end of Grassmarket for naked-lady related enjoyment.

Grass markets - the 3 sisters is good as is the irish bar, theres also a club with about 4-5 floors, cant remember the name but its between the two pubs above.

for a pub crawl go to 'rose street' - its the one running parallel behind princes street, me and a mate did the whole street last summer, its about a mile long.

Beers well cheap, pubs shut at 2-3ish

If you dont get lucky with the ladies, just ask to go to the pubic triangle

dont think i paid more than £4.50 for 2 beers in any pub

one pub on rose street was £1.10 for a pint

A spy themed bar - called "espionage" i think. Wanted to go there when i went but never got the chance.

Thats espionage For a visit you probably can't beat the Grassmarket and cowgate area for bars and pubs. There are some awsome bars a little futher out the city centre but pretty much impossible to describe how to get to.

Have fun and tidy up after yourself

Espionage - got so incredibly drunk in there one night, good place.

Try the Royal Mile, some nice pubs for a drink and a bite to eat especially at the Castle end.

Yep - stick to the Grassmarket and Rose Street, so those of us that live here can enjoy the real pubs
