during the week all 3 kids have gone down with a 48 bug thats had them throwing up every other minute!
now the wife has it!
as i've been at work all week i seem to have avoided it! buut how can i do o over the weekend...aside from staying away from them all!
what should i do to keep bugs at bay?
muti vits? fruit? fluids? mask?

I doubt if this would make a difference but I read somewhere that a lot of viruses are passed through hand contact. So get everyone washing their hands!
Wash your hands and dry them with your own towel as offten as possible. Be aware of putting your hands near your face and mouth.
I bought some great dettox spray that kills all sorts of bugs and viruses. You just spray areas like the toilet, bin area, door handles, taps etc. No need to wipe it air dries quite quickly.
Maybe get some fresh air through the house, warm atmosphere breeds germs so maybe if there isn't too much protest from the rest of family get the windows open just for a bit.
I think you can never drink enough water so maybe if you get yourself really hydrated now it might help if you do go down with it.
Only other thing is keep out of the way as much as possibe! Save all the cuddles for when they are better! Get yourself outside if the weather will let you... give your grass its first cut...tidy the shed??? Offer to do the shopping....I'm sure you need loo roll!
Best of luck with it

90% of the time it depends on what end of the gene pool you are from.
Like when you meet a 130 year old man (slight exageration) who smoked 50 a day since he was 2, never had a day off sick etc.
Everyone's bodies deal with infections and virus' differently.
