Real time quotes

I'm pretty sure you won't get it for free. Even if you found a quote vendor that did it for free, the exchange still charges a fee on top of the vendor's fee. You can get 10 minute delayed data fairly easily, but I think you'll struggle to get real-time.

Might try www.advfn.com and look for the new tools (with US flag) - which gives US data. UK data is live, but not sure about US.

Each exchange has a time delay associated with it, after which data is free.
It is very expensive to get real time data so you will not get it free from anywhere.
Price Ag[e]ing systems are supplied by Reuters/Dow Jones/Bloomberg etc for free, but you normally need to subscribe to one of their systems (again expensive).
However, if you go to Reuters main page and type in the instrument code in the quote box (eg. Reuters IC is RTR.L for the London Stock Exchange), it gives you the latest share price, but aged. The delay for the LSE is 20 minutes IIRC. I don't know the exchange code for Nasdaq.
