Getting rid of smell of diesel.....
Have tried everything to get rid of the smell of diesel from a cover that I want to use over the rear seats for the dog.
Have washed the said cover 4 times, pre-wash and hottest wash and smelly fabric conditioner.
Sprayed it with Febreze
Soaked it in bath overnight and added bottle of white vinegar
and still the bloody thing stinks, anyone else suggest something else I can try.

TBH have looked at others, but have seen none are that as big as this particular cover... I can fold it 3 thicknesses which is ideal for muddy/wet dog.
Looked at that site Chris, a few more things I can try thx

Red- Sorry but saying you've looked won't wash.
My Super King sized quilt would cover my entire vehicle and all for less than you've spent already.
Folded 8 times it should fit your requirements!!
Tightwad.

Have the waterproof one too that goes underneath. My GSD likes swimming and paddling in muddy ponds.
Still not gonna BUY one spoon not when this is perfectly adequate

The can of coke might be worth a try, it will clean rust off coins etc.
