Question Nebuliser useage

Have had to purchase myself a nebuliser under threat of being admitted to hospital due to the condition of my asthma.
I am currently supposed to be using it three times a day Salbutamol 5mg and Atrovent 500 micrograms in 1ml mixed together through the nebuliser.
Now, I do not remember the doctor telling me that, he was more telling me to take it every night, morning if needed. Obviously it is gonna be difficult taking the damn thing to work to use it three times a day if I am to follow what is down on my prescription.
Is there any danger with using that level of treatment as much as I am? Doc is considering switching my preventer inhaler treatment to incorporate it into my nebuliser program.

I am uncomfortable with this, but it is maintaining my asthma at a good level. I haven't had nebuliser treatment for a few years now, I had hoped it was getting better. Ah well.

Not much to say apart from hoping that you'll get better soon

Usually the nebuliser would just be used if your inhaler wasn't working, I'm no expert but the dosages quoted sound a bit high if you only have a preventative inhaler, morning and evening should be enough, good luck with it

I have three preventative inhalers and one protector as well as two emergency relievers. Recently these have had no effect to the point of me taking a canister or two when I am in real trouble.

Peak flow has rarely been over 200 despite treatment so I guess I need it.

Speak to your doctor to clarify it or get another doctor to have a look

My doctor is an asthma specialist and I have a lot of confidence in him apart from this recent event. It was either hospital care or home nebuliser program and I chose the latter.
