Which cycle lights to buy ?
Want to use my bikes more at night so want to buy a good set of lights. Dont want to spend too much but want good quality and decent run times.
Looking on Wiggle atm where else could I look? Any suggestions on sites or specific lighting units?

Cateye for the front - the multi-LED ones - brilliant. This will make you seen as is an intense white light.
Rear, I'm sure Cateye would do to.
Expect to pay around £30-40 for the set.....

If you're offroading at night you need Halogen type 10W+ - I don't think the front LEDs ones would be much use. Cateye lights are excellent. I've got a Cateye Stadium which gives 80+ W equivalent and a 3 hour run time - only problem is it cost more than some people spend on a bike.
Cheers,
Ian.

hmm maybe a wee bit more than I was looking to spend
Would be using the LED job as a on the road light and look for something to switch between while off-road

I run Cateye ABS25 lights. 10W flood and 15W spot. Can be run as eiher one on alone or both together. Can get nearly three hours on 10W if your careful and over 1 hour on full power. Excellent for fast off-road work - have done a 24hour race with them and long forest hacks. usually about £120 but I got mine for £99.99 last year from Bromley Bikes mail order.
