You can virtually guarantee that. Wouldn't be surprised if they were out of the country.

The foden had a top of the range tracking device fitted, which we found on the path in the yard this morning.

Ah.

Sounds like a pro job then. They were most likely on last nights ferry out of the country!

What colour / livery? Easier to spot than a number plate! Sorry to hear about this and hope you get them back, well maybe losing the Sed Ak is a blessing in disguise

Colours are in original post. There is also a link to a photo of Foden.

S/A itself was not worth much, but it had 6 month old Palfinger crane on it.

I would be a bit suspicious if the theives managed to find disable and rip out a top of the range tracker. It obviously wasn't fitted very well or the thief fitted it!!

Suspicious that they knew it was there maybe, but if you know it has one, finding it isn't too hard, only so many places it can be, and disabling is no great shakes for a pro.

OllyK fair enough I have never had a tracker in any of my cars so I don't know how they are installed. But I was under the impression that they were well hidden.

Oh they are well hidden, but the box of tricks and loom are a fair size. Not going to say too much on here, but think where you may put it if you have a fair sized box to place and want power for it and want to tap it in to the alarm system

Hmmm...this is very interesting.... I know of another lorry that was stolen in Wyboston and we had diesel stolen out of our lorries at the beginning of this week.

Seems they are out and about stealing lorries & diesel...
