speed camera advice?

anyone know if speed cameras have polarised lenses?
only reason i ask is if u rotate one polarising filter
above another it eventually goes dark and ive seen polarising film somewhere for sale. clear film- perhaps useful for preventing scratches on number plates
or am i just too bored at the mo

Dont they just use polarised lenses on sunglasses to protect your eyes? I cant see (no pun intended) the point of putting them on speed cameras..............
