I have written a drum piece but havent put that as a midi yet.
And now I havent to right a ballad for my third and final piece. I dont think my first piece was to bad considering I haven't got a clue about keyboards/pianos in fact I cannot read treble clef so I had to mess around see what I liked and then work out what notes it was etc and try and write it down.

Now the test have got so rediculous it is unbelieveable, in the marking scheme on one question it will say award a mark for getting the right composer or a composer from same period of time. Ona nother it will say do not award mark for naming composer?!?!?!?
No wonder not 1 person in the country managed to get in the highest mark band.

Ian,
Your friend's compositions are good. Wished he/she hadn't mucked about with the volume on the first piece. Why don't you do a drum composition with, say, a guitar riff as a backing rhythm piece? That way you compose using a system you are familiar with.
Good luck with it.

Yes the drums are the only instrument I play and very badly at that as well.
If I had the choice I wouldn't do any expresive art but I don't have the choice so I choose music.

OK, I only asked as i imagine its quite difficult with compositions? All mine were Flute/Piano based (for some reason the best marks were awarded to piano type things).
