Lol
I'm a firm believer that if it seems too good to be true then it probably is but wondered if anyone had actually tried ?

Scam? Not technically.
But look at the maths. They say they've got 7000 registered people. So you go in at number 7001 (for example).
Each phone requires 20 sales, and you move up one place each time a phone is given away, so need 7000x20 before you get your phone. Taking their estimate of 5 people per day you need (7000x20)/d days or roughly 76 years 7 months for your shiny new Nokia to arrive...
All perfectly legal, of course, but unlikely to make anyone rich. Apart from the founders, of course.
Want to set something similar up? Get a new STi for £50...

the simple maths will tell you that it won't work. in their example 5 people need to join for 1 person to get a free handset. well i don't believe that as the hadsets they show cost more than £100. even if it is the ratio, by the time 10,000 people have signed up, another 50,000 will need to sign up for the first 10,000 to get a handset. a further 250,000 will then be required for the next 50,00 to get theirs. then 1.25M will be required etc etc until you have exceeded the population of the world...

bl00dy hell - another clown has just bid £300 for the url of the mobile matrix scam...
despite the fact that he states in his advert "you are not bidding for the actual phone"
he emails them the url and takes the money.
