How much are new/second hand trailers that can carry a westfield/caterhams? Will one of these trailers fit in a standard size garage?
Also, does anywhere lease out trailers for a day/week/weekend etc.??
Just a trailer that'll get me there and back, nothing 'fancy'.
thanks in advance

Try a basic A-Frame that can fold up and be thrown in the boot!
See this webpage http://www.conrad.uk.net/Westie/aframe/aframe.htm for a picture.

Unfortunately I think most 'new' trailers are a grand plus from the likes of Brian James etc. Second hand trailers occasionally appear in places like auto-trader but they go very quickly, maybe better getting a hold of something like Motorsport news and checking out the private adds in the back. One thing to remember is to check that it has brakes and they work, it's not funny being pushed across a wet roundabout at night when you try to stop, happened to a friend of mine very scary.

Selling my 4 wheeler. My SL Merc (1800kg) fits nicely, so a Caterfield should be no problem.
A-frames are fine until you knock all 4 corners off on a track day.
A car trailer is a good buy if you have the space, they are non depreciating if looked after, and someone ALWAYS wants to borrow it for a bit of cash which pays for the upkeep. As mentioned, decent ones always sell quickly if you decide to sell.
