Anyone know of any good deals on DVD players. Nothing special needed at all really, just looking for something pretty darn cheap. Would be good if it was Multi-Region too. I've seen one at Richer Sounds for 29.95 
Any others people know of?

I got my folks an Acoustic Solutions one for £40 from Richer sounds for their christmas, picture quality seemed better than the PS2 I normally use, it cost me an extra fiver for a 3 year warranty too

got mine from ammazon, medion, £40 plays everything you throw at it
. its a modified region 2 so it should still play the new coded region 1 disc that won't play on multi regions.

There are some good secondhand ones around on the net.
I recently bought a Pioneer 717 for £85....cost £600 new.
Fantastic quality.
What would you rather have,a new Proton or a used Aston Martin.

I was looking for one to replace my current player that is sadly a bit big for the unit it sits in !!! Do the ones mentioned above play CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, WMA, VideoCD, etc, etc ?

I got 1 from asda, its 35 but if u work at asdaa or know some1 who does (my partner ) gets discount. £30 and it plays on the MPEGS of **** I downloaded for free off the net :laugh:
seriously though it plays JPEGS and loads of other stuff, well worth looking at, had no problems from it either
