We use to go there quite often a few years and then just didnt get round to going there much. Like most of these food places, its nice for a change as you get fed up with the same stuff after a while ....
Just wondered what there like and if there prices have changed much?

Went to the Edinburgh one for our xmas night out....
Xmas set menu was fine - £15 for starter & main and one cocktail. Starter was a shared between 2 platter of usual deep fried junk....followed by chargrilled turkey steak & beef steak combo....can't complain.
However, bill came to £40/head due to the other malarky going on with drinks

I would like to emphasise that the excessive drinks bill was not of the staff's doing! Self inflicted I'm afraid....
I have been twice and always found the service to be quick and error-free.

Service is superb and friendly
food is absolute cr@p, same as most chain type restaurants...I despair at the p1ss-poor food quality that people seem to think is acceptable for £15(ish) per head for 2 courses...factor of the "McDonalds generation" I reckon

The food isn't exactly good in there. I reckon it has to be worse than even brewers fayre and toby carvery in the pikey eatery world.
Wouldn't bother mate get down to a proper independant pub.

I think that TGI's are now very very bad in the market that they are in, when they first started out it was great, good portions for good value(for a restuarant) and the cocktails are great, now much more expensive. But now there are many companys out there doing better for less, for example frankie and bennys, they have a better range at the bar and more food for less money and better service.... do i need to say any more!! grumble over

Ooh I went to Frankie & Bennys, their club sandwich was gorgeous and huge! Really good value for money I thought. The black and blue burger (blue cheese and cajun spices) was really nice too. Deserts could have been a bit better, but main courses were fab!

Don't ever ever go to the one in Terminal 3 at Heathrow.
T3 is the most depressing airport terminal in the WORLD, and TGI's there adds the flavour to that vomit inducing atmosphere.
£25 for a dirty fork, no knives, no napkins, cold food, shs1t beer (enquired about all of them and was glared at like the son of satan). My mate andi refused topay the bill, and were escorted from the place by the local constabulary to help with their enquiries.
Frankie & Benny's on the other hand - first class!
My favourite in that sector has to be a chain of restaurants in Hong Kong - Wildfire. pizzas to die for!

We went to the one in Birmingham after the Autosport show on Thursday.
You're not wrong about them keeping the drinks flowing! Mixture of cocktails and Stella gauranteed I revisited my Steak Fajitas the following morning!

Went to the Reading one the other week, it's been "refitted" & the menu has changed since I last went. (Now only 98% of food is now soaked in Jack Daniels.) The format is unchanged with a desperate student waitress grinning from ear to ear in the hope of flattering you into thinking of her & not the chefs when giving a tip.
It's fine if you want a mediocre child friendly meal (It is after all the next step up from McDonalds) but if you haven't got the kids as an excuse go eat somewhere decent.

The worst meal I've had in my life was at a TGI Fridays - the food was cold and just mass-produced frozen cr4p. The staff were absolutely pathetic and just stood around chatting to each other : it was like they were just itching to get home. It took us 20 minutes to get a drink. It was so bad I had to call the manager over to give him a bollocking, something which I very rarely do. I got the meal for free but in retrospect should've sued them for the two and a half hours of my life needlessly wasted in such a god-forsaken ****-hole.
