Should I shop em to the police as I have the reg number?

They passed a parked car too close and knocked off the drivers mirror of the stationary car.

You'd be better giving the reg details to the damaged car owner(or stick it under his/her wiper if you don't know the owner).

The police will probably look at you gone out and you'll never know if it gets followed up. My guess is it won't because of the "insurance will pay" attitude that they'll know doubt use.

The owner could well have large breásts too which make it more appealing.

I would either give them to the owner of the car, or the Police.

I saw a lorry trash the side of a parked car, the driver got out and looked and left without leaving any details. I reported him to the Police. I had a phone call from the Police that evening, and apparantly they had been in touch with the lorry driver and he had admitted it.

Thumbs up

Give details to both. Then if plod do as they normally do, the owner will still be able to try and pursue it.

Stick the details under the wiper blade - I did this in the past when a bus knocked the wing mirror off a car parked outside perfectly legally, and got a Chrimbo card from the bloke saying that he'd managed to get the bus company to pay for the damage

yes, report to both and leave the scum's details along with your details as witness with the owner - and good on you for being decent enough to make a difference in this pikey society!
