Anyone else here on telewest Digital TV? has it just stopped working? we have a little party round and where watching TV and all of a sudden nothing. Phoned a mate in newcastle [ not to find out about this ] and its not working there either...

yep I was trying to watch paul rogers on jools holland kept going on and off every 30 seconds.only bbc 1+2 and itv seemed to be "on air"
as usual no info from telewest.....they are s~~~~! when it comes to customer care.

Blueyonder do know there is a problem and say it is fixed apparently, anyway if any of your services go down try checking out this page:

Just found this on the website about all Digital TV services:
Customers in the Nationally may currently be experiencing problems with Digital TV last night into this morning. Service should now be restored. If not please switch the Telewest Set top box off at the wall plug, leave off for 30 seconds then reconnect. The box should then reload to channel 890. You can channel away from this and service should be restored. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I tried that web page yesterday and it wasn't there indeed none of the telewest web pages where there apparently it was an electrical fault.... 
That will be the second major outage in Scotland in 2003 because of electrical faults...

Poor gits that had the internet off too. Ours was ok, bit irritating that I couldnt watch the tv, but its the first time i've had any problem with it in nearly 3yrs. Similarly, never have a problem with the internet (except that it isnt 8mb 
).
