Any good Mobile phone wholesalers ?
#1
I have just started trading in buying & selling mobile phones. The prices I am paying are well over the odds because they are being bought in bulk just from normal retailers rather than wholesalers.
Im currently looking for some decent wholesalers either in the UK or far east that have a good reputation.
Does anyone on here work for any phone shops and can help me with this, thanks.

ive looked at the expansys website but the phones are far too expensive to give any profit margin. Have to say that they do offer a wide choice and looks like virtually every make and model is sold there or if not, they could probably get hold of.
Ill give them a phone in the morning to see if they can give discount if I buy in bulk, thanks.

Im after around 100 pieces to start sim free with of varying makes & models going up to 500 on the second order. 99% is mainly for within the UK although some will be going to the US.

for those qty you may try ringing around the companies in Exchange and Mart...
is a difficult market with v small margins if selling within UK...particularly with small qty as transportation costs eat away at any potential profits.
To succeed you need a very good relationship with cheap reliable suppliers and customers who are willing to pay a little more for the products...ie exportors.
Also you need to vet your suppliers thoroughly as you may be held liable for any VAT you pay to them. Organised criminals often use Mobile Telephones, Computer chips, booze, cigs to facilitate VAT fraud.
How long you been doing it and how are you finding it?
