You should have got some software with it. You connect it to your PC and manage the photo's on the card from there.

Or if not possible, pop to Boots or any photo place tomorrow and get them to stick them on CD from the card. Then you can clear the card.

There will be an option on the camera menu to delete the photos without downloading them.

Stephen, Did you get a manual with the camera? Why don't you set down and read it. If not you could probably find one online and print it out.

Olympus support site . I can't see your camera in the list. Is it old (discontinued)? There's an e-mail link on that page, orders@olympus.com, the wording suggests you could ask for a PDF copy of the manual from them...
"
If the Instruction manual you would like to purchase or download is not shown below, or if you would like an Olympus representative to assist you, please e-mail us at orders@olympus.com or call 1-800-201-7766 (Mon-Fri 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET). "

In the menu on Olympus digital cameras there's a symbol like a kind of knife (no, really ...), which means "format". That clears the card.
How many extra memory cards do the manufacturers sell because people think you can only use them once ...?

MUPPET !!!!!!!!
send me a mail m8 with phone number to get you on tomorrow and I will give you a ring and explain it .... let me guess the camera ain't dirty so you don't now how to use it
Or perhaps there is a reason we do not let you near a camera
Dave.
