hi

anyone know where i could get my hands on a list of uk banks, addresses etc, based on sort codes?

i need this for a lookup table to retrieve bank postal details (i.e. manager name and address) to speed up direct debit setups.

There is a bankers Almanac that I used to use at work.

Try a friendly banker (oxymoron?) and they be able to get you a copy. They are regularly updated and the old copies thrown out.

Also buy a compendium of Branch Sort Codes produced every year, walk into a bank & ask.......

thanks guys - any ideas if i can get this in access/excel (or other electronic means) from anywhere? (only really need it for Northern Ireland banks at the moment)
