100%: Many years ago I knew a trolly Dolly who told us about the amount of booze and coke some of the pilots would use.....

Suprised that all pilots are not tested more often.

Picture the scene :

- Stressful job (some of the time)
- away from home a lot
- staying in hotels with the trolly dollys
- boredom
- highly paid
- lots of free time in far flung places

Hmm....all the elements for getting drunk etc.

I've heard before about the things pilots/flightcrew get up to in Edinburgh hotels, and also the drivers of the taxis in the mornings commenting on the stink of booze as he drives them to the airport.

I imagine it goes on a lot more than we would all like to think......I wonder if the 1st officer & pilot "agree" as to who is the designated "driver" the night before

chaos.

Your just talking about the negatives, think of the benefits. I think getting a bit of wet in the said 'trolly dollies' out weighs the negatives
