Just come back from seeing the Stereophonics at Earls Court
Following on from POC's old thread, he wasn't wrong.....
Man they are flipping fantastic live - what a cracking performance, they belted out all their classics and some new ones, best live show I've seen in ages!

They were fecking awesome!! That was what a concert should be like!!
They played a fair few songs from previous albums which was good cos I'm not so fond of the latest one - my fave is Performance and Cocktails. The crowd definately preferred the early stuff too! When they played I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio it was just magic.
Oh it was feckin fantastic! I WILL see them again!

old stuff is great new stuff just isnt my cup of tea. I was at the concert in Glasgow a few weeks ago. The crowd went wild for the earlier material and just looked glum when it was some of the more recent album material.

Word Gets Around is the album to have IMHO
Missed this lot of concerts, but I was them on the WGA, P&C, JEEP and the 2 smaller venue concert tours they did.
Also seen Kelly Jones acoustic in York - the one where he got the tapes nicked... thus scuppering the chance of a DVD/video of the concert (which IMHO was absolutely SUPERB)
