What car maker has changed their car shapes least?
#1
I reckon Saab
Look at this Saab 99 from the 1970's - hardly changed over the latest Saab 9-3.
Saying that, I forgot about the 911 Probably the shape that has changed the least over the last 40 years?

OK....need to rephrase this.....not really asking which car was in production longest in the same shape (mini/2cv/etc), but which ranges of cars seem to have changed shape the least in normal model evolution....
ie, Saab 99 to Saab 9-3.
ie2, look at a Ford Cortina, and a Mondeo is not recognisable as a descendant of a Ford Cortina (or Sierra!).
ie3, a Focus looks nothing like an Escort!
A Saab 9-3 looks quite like a Saab 99. A lot of the basic design shape has survived. Same goes for big Volvo estates over the years.
So why is Ford guilty of so much design shape change!!! Following fashions & trends more?
