Are fishnet stockings / tights like Marmite?

Saw a girl this morning in fishnets (not sure if they were tights or stockings). Now I myself don't do a bundle on them so I did a straw pole and the split seems fairly even between lovers and haters.
Just wondering how the Scooby community balanced out?

Fishnets - Ok with a french maid outfit, otherwise not sure. They need to be expensive or they end up looking like recycled fishing nets (maybe that's an unfortunate analogy!!).
Marmite - take it or leave it. I really don't have a strong view either way. It's ok sometimes.

Fishnets, usually worn by over the hill slappers or at a fancy dress do so the appeal is usually in direct proportion to alcohol consumed.

The arguement about Fishnets, well, hmmm. As somebody's mentioned, depends on the circumstances, who's wearing them, whether they're tights or stockings.....
Personally, the arguement should be tights vs stockings. And obviously, some graphical examples

Never liked them 'til I started seeing these with the larger gauge net. Got the G/F some but they make her look like a cheap hooker

Yes, they are like Marmite - feckin horrid. And as for Twiglets...
Of Telboys pics so far, I haven't got as far down the models as the stockings... seems more of interest higher up.

Don't really like them at all personally as they look a bit too dirty. If it had to fishnets then they'd have to be really fine mesh types.
Much prefer women wearing either regular stockings with a seam or lace top hold ups. Hmmmmmmm.

I do quite like them but frankly they look 'needy' especially around the older types.
