My Father in Law has bought a DVD player and has asked me to hook it up. I suspect that he has an oldish TV with one scart. I know he has a Sky box and a VCR. There are no additional amps..nor any prospect of any .
What is the best connection in these circumstances?

Your best bet is to get a Scart splitter box - like a 3 in one sort of thing....

Or I've got an RF modulator, that allows you to plug the Scart in the one end, and get a tv aerial output the other end....

Picture's not as good adn the sound's in mono, but I only bought it for the kids to watch DVDs on the portable tv....
