God how I wish he'd stop wasting valuable guest chat time by doing his self-indulgent, repetitive and very boring singing thing at the end of his show.

Anyone find it amusing/interesting?

D

When he did the darkness song a few shows ago I was pissing myself. Normally its pretty pants though. Gave up when I saw his guests were Fern Britton and Phillip Schofield.

Simon.

Yeah, Phillip Schofield 20 years ago was the double of Tommy Vance!

Thumbs down

I'm sure the guy USED to be funny.

He now just throws in cheap, pointless gags, that really aren't that funny and, like you say, his singing is just a boring drone - why does he still do it !?

I think he's pi$$ed bored and just thinking about the money now.

I'm sure he's always been about as funny as castration with a blunt object.

I can't think of anything worse than him and his pr1ck of a sidekick talking unfunny bollox and getting paid for it. I can't remember the name of the program but he used to be in a terrible CH4 program with 2 other nomarks (one of whom was that awful eclair woman I think) based in a theatre- the joke being that he was a talentless moron who the audience hate- good casting.

Agree. Almost as unfunny as Lenny Henry or Frankie Howerd. Almost.

Lenny Henry.

The continuing fascination the BBC has with this man perplexes me rigid.
