Checking to see if a company has gone t!ts up?

Made a purchase on this website http://microsuperstore.com/main.htm last Monday. Got a print out and email confirming the order. Haven't received the goods, have called the credit card company and no amount has been taken off my card and when I call the number on the print out its a dead line.
How can I check if this company has folded? I am suspicious due to the site still being up and taking orders and the phone being a dead line but then they havent billed me. Just want to find out whats going on really. Also emailed them but no reply.
Whats the best line of investigation?

I am always suspicious of companies that list no contact tel. number on their web site.
Looking at their "parent company" http://www.webfix-networks.com/ you can see that only 2 of their companies sites work (one of which is an empty forum!) and the other has the same contact details - it all has the feeling of "one man band" about it.
From the Burnstar site contact details:-
Freephone: 0800 5429606
International: +44 1924 489845
And the potential culprit (from directNIC domain database):-
Administrative Contact:
Hussain, Asad info@webfix-networks.com
My advise to you would be to contact your credit card company and see if oyu can prevent them from making a charge, then go elsewhere. The whole set up look rather amateurish to me, if not a little dodgy! (Despite the claims to be registered with Which!)

Looks like they are still trading as far as Companies House is concerned

Thats what I was thinking of doing, will also inform the credit card company to keep an eye on my cards transactions or kill it and issue me with me a new one.
All very dodgy. Will teach me not to buy things off the web without checking out the company first

Just had a call from the bloke
LOL he apologised and said they have had a computer systems failure and also out of stock of the helicopters. Anyway he let me cancel my order and confirmed my card hasn't been charged
Told him phone lines were dead when calling and he was a bit surprised. One man band alert!!! Was polite about it though and didn't question me canceling so if he is genuine hope he gets his company sorted as not all folks are rip off merchants. Still might cancel my card though
