Was casually surfing the net for ideas of how to make my Scooby go a bit faster - because I like that 'kick in the back' sensation - and found this one...
Wow! Check it out!
I can't imagine what the acceleration and G-force would feel like! Has anyone done anything like this?
Group buy anyone

What you have just discussed has been a dream of mine for years, having seen Mig 29's at displays. I am going to cotact these people as i go to Moscow on business a couple of times a year and will combine. Sounds unbelievable.

Hmm, and the dollar exchange rate is at its best. $1.8 for every £1! Tempting...
Has anyone been in one of these, or similar? I can only remember Clarkson flying in one of his programs and throwing up in mid air!

I know of a guy who went one better and bought one!
The bloke in question owns a fairly successful IT hardware business in the States. He was in Russia a few years back doing some consulting job when he was offered the chance to buy a Mig fighter for $25000. Being a pilot he was seriously tempted, so he checked it out with the authorities in the States who said it could be brought in as long as the guns and armanents were removed and disabled.
So he bought it for $25k and had it taken apart put into containers and shipped back to the States. As far as I know it is still kept at Dallas Fortworth Airport!
