The other choo choo post made me think about this..

I was round some friends last night and we could hear some tapping in the hallway, both looked round the door to find his missus hanging some flashing icicles.

FFS! it's not even December yet woman!!!

there might be a wee Xmasy candle makes its way on to the mantle piece but as far as I am concerned thats the lot !!
She can decorate one of the spare rooms and go and sit in it everytime she needs a hit of Christmasness

Normally its the council estates that you see the first ,houses decorated etc . Maybe they just like to make it seem that xmas lasts 2 months.

They go up after our son is in bed on Christmas Eve here. That way he wakes up to find the whole experience of Christmas special rather than just the gifts.

Don't do any decor appart from the tree which, as stipulated by the good lady, has to be a Nordmann Spruce The little un will love it though so all is cool.

My neighbour is male 47 and lives on his own and has had his up for 4 weeks now....the sado has even decorated an poutside tree withy lights tinsel and a star psml.

theres only 6 houses in my culda sac and the fookin clown opposite my house has decorated the whole of his outside in xmas ****.......its tacky as ****.
every window has bright green rope lights around them, big fookoff santa's dangling all over and a huge flashing merry christmas sign, even the drainpipe has got it on.lmao
