Ahhh there's a blast from the past

I've had my fair share of pain from moshing! The best time I had whilst moshing was at V97 when Prodigy kicked ar$e! The buzz then was unbeleivable, and to top it all off I was on the front of the Yorkshire Press the day after moshing my head off at the festival

I was 2 rows from the front when they had to stop it due to the people at the front being crushed, other than that AMAZING gig!

I was at v97 too...... and i was quite near the front too.

I remember the bottle fight well, as they delayed coming on until it had stopped.....lol

That is by far the best gig i have ever been to..

If there was anyone else near the front you may remember me as I had a young woman on my shoulders during the first part of the Prodigy performance (that i'd never met ) and we fell over at one point and nearly took half of the crowd with us LOL

Man I remember the hell of a moshpit at Corrosion of Conformity. People flying in all directions and sdtage divers going in feet first to liven things up. God it got messy.

Worst battering was at Cliff Pavillion in 91 seeing Field Of the Nephilim when a human pyramid collpased and some big 18 stone geezer landed on my head on knocked me out !

Poor guy is a product of the commercialisation of the whole metal/goth genre. He is a blatantly a new metal munchkin who has bought into that Slipknot/ pseudo-boyband / baggy pants brigade. He ***** over pics of Avril Lavigne and wants to be the zany one in Busted. He has no concept of what 'Metal'is but still does the sign of the devil at gigs cos everyone else does, he thinks 'moshing'is a new word to descibe him and his mates hopping around pretending to be gangsta rappers with a head twitch. Sheep like him should be rounded up and shot. **** off kid and leave the genre to those who know what they're talking about.

There is a pub near Oxford road station (in Manchester)full of 'Moshers', the Salisbury I think, you may just fit in as it looks like the cast of a Snowboarding game, all baggy pants and nose rings, seemed like a good natured lot really but they did look fairly amusing with their mahossive short pants and Slipknot T'shirts, not really taking the p*ss as 15 years ago it would have been me, back then it was called Madchester and you had to wear Huuuuge Flares, a baggy top with flowers on prior to getting all soppy with a bird in James t shirt, my type can sometimes still be found in Manchester in Fab Cafe or 5th Avenue pretending we are your age dancing like a tit to the Stone Roses.

Enjoy it, its called being young, we dont take the p*ss because you are young, its probably jealousy and 'banter', plus occasionally you do let something slip that suggests that you are capapble of being a bit of a tit !
