know a guy who has had 216 cars to date (no really, he's got a photo album of every car!)
he 40 odd and a builder, sells a car to buy materials then when he gets paid for the job goes out and buys another car.
nice work if you can get it!
he's had some really quality cars too, curently runs an 03 911.
not jealous at all
still,he's yet to own a scooby, doesn't know what he's missing!

Been driving since the age of 17 so in 13 years had
VW Beetle 1303s (MY_DARKAGES!)
Escort 1.3 Eclipse (MY89)
Orion 1.6i Ghia (MY89)
Kawasaki GPX 250 (MY89)
Honda CBR 400 RR (MY89)
Cavalier 2.0 GLSi (MY93)
BMW 525i auto (MY89)(fantastic car and still miss it now )
Kawasaki ZX6-R (MY01)
Scoob Turbo (MY98)(now)
Yamaha R1 (MY03) (now)
Always worked my way up, took my time but was well worth the wait to get to the scoob/R1
If I had got a scoob/R1 at 21 etc I wouldn't be here today I know that much.

Passed my test in November '91, so driving 12 years.
Cars owned:
Renault 18 Estate
Escort 1.3L estate (MkII)
Cortina 1.6GL (MKIV)
Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus
Citroen Visa 1.7D
Mini with 1430 engine
Vauxhall Magnum 2300 coupe
Mini Clubman
Mini 1000
Escort 1.3 saloon MkII
Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 saloon
Vauxhall Cavalier 1.6 estate
Vauxhall Astra 1.3L MkI
Fiesta 1.6D
Mazda 626
Escort 1.6 MkV (company car)
Toyota Carina E GTi (company car)
Rover 620Ti (company car)
Toyota Carina E TD (company car)
Vectra 2.0SRi (company car)
Vectra 1.8SRi (company car)
Lexus IS200 (company car)
Subaru Impreza WRX
I think I've missed a couple out, but thats most of them. I had the IS200 the longest (3 years) followed by the Impreza. I get bored of cars very easily. My rash of company cars before the Lexus was due to me being one of the youngest people in the company with a car so I always got the 100,000 mile snotter for the last couple of months before it got sold.
I've also owned a few motorbikes

B20, R1 was an excellent choice, i had the Gixxer 600 k2 last year, but after 3 moths got written off, so eventually she agreed to a new bike.......yep the R1 in blue, those sleek straight cut lines looked far better than the rounded cures of the previous model, so i slipped in the mention of the scooby ?? and she readily agredd saying much more safer than a bike.so i went from this
to this
then this, because at i thought like everybody else the insurance was goona be too much, well LIVERPOOL VICTORIA £502 F/C with HER on the insurance, and i reckon the only difference between to 2 is the Turbo puts a bigger smile on yer face down the straight

Passed test in 1996
Since then I have driven well over 100 different models/makes of cars.
But actually only owned 6 cars
So list from 1st to the current in order of when I bought them:
1992 XR3i 1.8 130ps
1997 UK scooby Turbo (still own)
1969 Lightweight Land Rover v8 (still own)
1984 VW Polo 1.3
1987 Nissan Sunny 1.3LX (still own )
1993 Rover 216Gsi Auto
No typical "climb the ladder" with me
