Go and get the original "Live, at the top of the Tower" DVD, it's much funnier.
For anyone who's seen the first DVD + Phoenix nights they may be a bit disappointed, as many jokes are borrowed, or carried on from the earlier efforts. "Cheese Cake.. " not as funny as "Garlic ? Bread ?". I found he laboured the jokes a bit too much, giving you the punchline then repeating the joke for emphasis.
Don't get me wrong, he's a genius and find him hilarious.. which is why I felt a bit let down by this effort

I am a Big Peter Kay fan and somone bought me Live at the top of the tower and i thought it was very weak compared to his characteristaions in phoenix nights.
It is the only thing he has ever done i have been dissapointed in though.

dont really agree, seen the top of the tower vid numerous times and still think the new one is better, the whole idea of the cheese cake joke is a **** take from the first garlic bread joke...
The first one is good dont get me wrong but the second one is better..! just my opinion.
