Exclamation

just got back from power engineering, and the old lady who lives in the bungalow over the road has just been over to tell me that she woke up for a drink at about 3am this morn, and when she looked outside she see some bloke looking in my kitchen window ,now my 1st thought was,is he looking to see if my car keys are about,or is he just lookin to rob my house...either way im as paranoid as *** now,and debating if i should drag my *** out of bed at about 2am and sit in the dark to see if anyones hanging about again...i can't imagine the old bill will be very interested if i contact them,so wot do the rest of the scoobynet massive recommend, obviously i dont want to get myself nicked, but i feel this little ****** may need teaching a lesson in the rights of possesion.any veiws peeps???

Reminds me of the movie Blue Velvet:

Frank Booth: You wanta go for a ride?
Jeffrey Beaumont: No thanks.
Frank Booth: No thanks. What does that mean?
Jeffrey Beaumont: I don't want to go.
Frank Booth: Go where?
Jeffrey Beaumont: On a ride.
Frank Booth: A ride? Hell, that's a good idea. Okay, let's go. Hey, let's go.

Inform the Police anyway

bit late now but how about a PIR security light or two, leave a light on downstairs with a note in the window saying something along the lines of

Your where spotted looking in the window last night
I have informed the Police of this
The Police are adivsed to stop reg xxxxxx if seen out between xxx and yyy

Also buy a 4 or 6 cell maglite, the one that takes the big batteries and keep it close.

If you take your keys to bed then it may mean they need to disturb you to get them, leave them downstairs and they may not.

Sh*tty thing to happen and i am sure will cause a sleepless night or two.

Good luck

Bear in mind there might be just one of them, might be more and just one does the recce, be careful!

You could disconnect the coil lead or such to immobilise it come what may

cheers for the advice paul,
ive got a couple of pir security lights out the back already, but this little tosser was out the front...your right about the sleepless nights so i might as well stay up anyway and play the part of the note, just without the light on...as for the maglite,i am a very keen baseball player if you get my drift lol

Buy some sheet steel, cut it into strips and place them around your property, connect steel to mains electricity, poor water on it last thing at night, wait for screams and glowing sky, switch off electricity, remove steel plates, phone police and ambulance to pick up body, deny everything

I think Paul's advice to inform the police is good. At least they can have the occasional check in a Panda in the night.

The car is fitted with a tracker and will be tracked as soon as moved (even if it is not).

Sorry Paul, that bit of advice is bad.

A) if he does have a Tracker, that's his insurance claim stuffed for informing the ******

B) if he doesn't they may decide to trash the car looking for this non-existant device.
