It is not a 2.5 vtec!
I have a subaru impreza type-r, which has a 2.5litre conversion done to it! don't you guys read Banzai mag, was featured earlier this year in it!
Cant find my scoobynet trump card (do a search if you want to see it), so here is my CICarScene trump card :
Figures are a bit out of date now though.

But why buy a car from Jersey?
The mileage may look good but don't forget its all stop-start journeys so the engine is mostly run when not at optimum temp.
However, there were some very cheap bangers at the weekly Jersey auction yesterday, XR3i cabriolet went for £50 as nobody else wanted it.
Very nice classic Ferrari on the ferry from Jersey this morning. Mint condition and owner told me he uses it regularly, mucho respect to that man.
Of course, if you were to "rent" a Jersey address for 6 months of the year then it might save you annual road tax and the annual MOT etc. It would also stop the police from following up Gatso pics as there is no reciprocal agreement with Jersey over speeding convictions.
However, that would be morally wrong and deprive that nice Mr Brown of the money he needs to pay for all the asylun seekers etc.
Disclaimer: I would never ever do this honestly officer. I'm only over here in the UK on holiday and I can't find my way back to the ferry port.

If the car is to be used permantly in england, you will need to re-register with a uk plate.
You will need to declare it on arrival and pay the vat also.
You could keep it on a Jersey plate, and keep it registered in Jersey if the car was back in the island for 6months a year. I.e. 6months in england, 6months in Jersey. But you would need to actual live on the island to do this.
