Used to go shooting with my old man a few years back (ok nearer 10 ) and fancy taking it up again. There must be somewhere to shoot around here (dont have my own gun again and am probably very rusty). But searching yell.com shows nothing nearer than Andover really. With all the countryside around here there must be a closer club. Anyone recommend one?
Not really bothered as to what format as have done skeet, dtl and sporting and enjoyed them all. Im guessing there are a few more formats these days.
Simon.

You probably arent far from Bisley. Failing that West Wycombe shooting ground maybe?
I used to live in Bucks and there are quite a few club shoots around in addition to the poasher establishments above!

Yeah I was better at DTL too. Liked Skeet a lot though. Jumping rabbit - was that the one where they just roll it down a ramp left to right or vice versa and it kinda hit the ground and bounces a bit? Was cool as you see the shot taking chunks outta the ground
Me and me old man shared a second hand beretta 682 which was lovely to shoot. If I get back in to it I will look to get another Beretta.

It is indeed a great sport.... shot up in Scotland a few weeks ago for Guernsey ... ok we didn't stand a chance against the likes of England etc. but we beat Jersey
Currently CPSA registered AA class in English Sporting.... except I don't shoot anywhere near as much as I used to... now struggling to hit enough to get within 10% of my average in order to lower my classification... stupid rules!

There is a place off the A30 on the Basingstoke side of Hook. The turn off is next to a pub called the Red Lion and then a couple of miles up.
Went there a few times, Sorry cant be any clearer.
