Hi

I am putting my belongings into storage and wondered if anyone else does the same? How long can i keep it all in there realistically,years? Just looking for good/bad experiences really.

we used storeage for 6 months inbetween moving. no problem, except my computer must have got a bit damp, cos when i plugged it in after getting out of storeage the scanner blew up with a bang(and smell), and next was the printer, now the hard drive. was fine pre-storeage.

moral: dont put expensive electrical items in storeage.

Check the place out first.There are some really good places with heating etc.

Total waste of money when you can use my loft and garage, especially if stuff is gonna get damp in storage. Don't know why you are insisting on using expensive cr@p storage facilities
