IMHO - brilliant film - stylish, well shot, well choreographed, good plot, great characters, black humour and a well told story
Enjoyed every second of it!

Just been to see it and liked it a lot.
It's a film buff's film brought to the masses IMO.
Strangely enough, my female company seemed to enjoy the film as much as I did - bonus!

Looks like you're a bit of a minority here Stevo.
I went along with low expectations and 'kin loved it, more surprising so did my wife.
We want to see the other 3 now and can't wait for vol II

Hmmm
Can see why people liked it - very slick - but a bit slow and drawn out to get it to 'two episodes' - the cartoon scene was very bizarre!!
Liked it - but as the film was just getting started it ended
Overall Kill Bill is better than most and well worth watching - cinematographry is excellent as is the soundtrack
I wouldnt rate it in my all time bests though............ (preffered Pulp Fiction, but it was far better than his other 2 - Jackie Brown and Reservior - and I love violent movies
Now if someone had said that Reservoir was on a £100 budget then maybe............... but not Kill Bill

IT's a strange one alright....I came out of the cinema thinking it was ok, but everyone who told me about it though it was the best thing ever.
I have recently been telling other people about it and find myself raving more and more about how good it was, although I distinctly remember thinking it average.
I think a second viewing is on order, which is ideal as I have a DVD copy woohoo
p.s. I have paid to see the film in the cinema and will buy the original DVD when it comes out before you all get the copyright police onto me

I enjoyed it but my bf thought it was too gratuitously violent.
Whilst I could see his point, the violence didn't bother me because it was too "cartoon style" to take seriously.
The part I found funniest was when the little girl arrived home during the knife fight and, with both women breathing hard and bleeding, standing in the wreckage of a room, her mother told her, "this is one of mommy's friends who mommy hasn't seen in a long time"!

Well I was put off by the trailer and thought I wont bother going to see that. But everybody I speak to says its brilliant which is rather unusual in this day and age. So will have to go see it this weekend I think.
