AA is about the same price.This year i left it to the last day to rejoin,sales guy rang me at home,i said it was too expensive,he let me have it for£60 if i joined there and then.

There is an alternative.
Try Britannia Rescue. They are considerably more cost effective than the others, and they did win the Which award I think it was 4 years on the trot.
Better news is that if you are a member of particular unions and such, you can get even more discount. I have been using them for the last 3 years, and have to say that their level of service is superb!

Also check out Norwich Union
I just switched to them from the AA, and saved over £100 for what appears to be similar cover.
