Just seen that an online shop is offering the Sony Ericcson t610 (+the normal accessories) on Orange pay as you go for £160.

Does anyone have experience with this phone, is it any good?

And is it worth me buying this to replace my current 8310 on O2 pay as you go?

Advice much appreciated!

Very good indeed. I was a Nokia man, and the T610 is not as intuitive to use but has some great features. I am not convinced re. reception, but I would say go for it if you like lot's of fun things like a built in camera, colour screen and polyphonic tones etc.

What really swung it for me was it's Bluetooth ability so that it syncs with my Apple Macs.

Cheers,

Mossman

I've got one. IMO, it's OK as 'phones go, but not rave-worthy. Mine was free with an online contract. I wouldn't have bought it.

It's slow at work today, so I am creating Scoob themes for it. I suppose it's keeping me occupied, so can't really complain.

If you do get one, you'll want to download some wallpaper, games and ring tones. I'm not at all impressed with the standard ones that come with the 'phone.

The Aluminium case looks a bit tatty after a while like a dented beer can, so if your a "dropper" probably not a good buy.

The great thing about ericsson is the accesories are interchangable, our work cars have car kits and we have a mixture of t68's 610's and p800 and they all work in the car kits, try doing that with a nokia.

Its the best phone I've had to date, I got it in July. Nice and easy to use, but like all colour screens are a bit poor in strong sunlight.
