Denon AVR3803 is a quality amp , as is the AVC-A11. Depends on your budget tbh though.

DVD is great, it is multi region with a remote hack.
The only (slightly) irritating thing about it is if the DVD is on standby and you press the eject button, it spends 10 secs or so reading what the damn disc is before actually spitting it out!!!
