Right, in need of some new sunnies, and IMHO the lenses in Oakleys are some of the best, and my fav. I like the wrap around style, but can't make up my mind. Which ones does everyone else like or anyone got recommendations? Any website links to cut prices would be good too
I can't wear the type of glasses that sit on your nose with the pads (if you know what I mean) they'll need to rest using the frame.......
Cheers
Neil

Got a pair of these a few years back:
(If not these exact ones, they're nearly identical)
http://x.oakley.com/catalog/display/...l_ruby_iridium
Still love 'em - very comfortable

i have always worn oakleys
at the mo i have:
2 pairs of c wires (black iridium and red iridium)
Blue iridium E wires
Gold iridium Zero 0.4s
Blue iridium/yellow lens M frames (from my cycling days)
Tried on a pair of Pink/purple Y3s this morning and they are awesome- not sunglasses as such- you could wearthese things all day and literally look at the world through rose tinted specs..
I love them and can highly recommend them- the clarity from them i have yet to find anything that beats them
(cue peeps saying waste of money blah blah 99p pair from tescos is just as good etc zzz)

Got three pairs Off to the States for a week tomorrow. The exchange rate ATM is $I.90 to the pound which means that when I come back I'll probably own four pairs.

The good thing about Oakley is that if you knacker your shades even after a few years, you can put them under warranty for another year for £13 and they'll replace whichever bit you've shafted, I've had to do this twice with different shades and both times they've come back like new.

No offence, but IMHO those Spy glasses look nasty. As for Oakleys, never been one to follow the latest trend, I wear what I like, which is the Oakleys, and I've never come across a better lens yet IMHO
Anyone got any good online links for Oakleys?

the bronze colouring has worn off the metalwork on my Persol ones.
Mind you they are about 4 years old (sunglasses hut in Cribbs Causway £88.99 back then)
I would definitely get another pair, clearest lenses I have ever worn.
(never bought oakley, too fapping expensive)

edit : age and cost as I just found the receipt )
