Child Beggars...

...or Trick or Treaters to give them their modern name. Saw the first set of these small beggars doing the rounds tonight. One was wearing an orange sheet with a pumpkin face, the other a bin bag with a hole cut out for the head to go through and eyes painted on the front.
WHY are they out NOW?? Do they think they'll get more sweeties by "beating the rush"?

Prisoner in your own home time!
Last year I asked where the "Responsible Adult!" was.
Fortunately there was one there so gave them some sweets and didn't get a firework in my letterbox.
It'll be "Penny for the Guy" in a couple of weeks too
Wonder if they know what they're celebrating ...

I dont mind if kids make an effort
but theres always the tag-along fattie with just his jumber pulled over his head, which spoils it.

Last year I was well impressed. Group of kids who had obviously made an effort, with a mum at a safe distance behind them to keep an eye.
Had no chocs in the fridge when I shut the door - kept the beer tho
David
PS - Bajie, how you doing, long time no see.
