To have our Sky dish moved to our new house, it will cost us £40. This will include a new dish.

If I cancel the current subscription and take a new contract out it will cost us £1 for a new box, dish, etc.

I just tried to cancel the current contract, but the guy from Sky said we cant do this becuase we have Sky before and we will be charged the full price for the dish and box.

I have read there terms and condition, but it mentions nothing about old contracts.

Any advice?

(g) You are entitled to one Interactive Discount per household.

Taken from there terms and condition. Does it still count if you move houses?

It's only £40 - put that into context with the rest of your house-moving costs and you won't even notice it.

Tell them you are moving houses, therefore it will be a new household!

Another statment:

"Sky's free equipment offer is limited to one per household. The offer is not open to anyone who has previously signed an Interactive Discount Contract and/or whose household has previously benefited from an Interactive Discount."

1. Cancel your existing subscription.
2. Take digibox & dish to new home.
3. Buy Sky+ off the net - no extra subscription, box will cost you £150 and installation is £1.
4. Sell old digibox and dish on ebay.

I thought it was £199 + £1? Do you have a URL for the £150 offer?

It says on TV that the box is £150 + £50 for the installion if you order by phone, but the website says £1.

Conning ba5tards must be pulling a fast one by putting the online price of the decoder up!
