hi,

can anyone recommend a tank driving activity day as i'm thinging of getting one for my girlfriend's b'day. and of course i can go too!

seen a few on sites like tanks-alot but has anyone here been on one.

hiya i went on a tanks alot day earlier this year, was good fun, aswell as driving ferret tanks, and missile launchers, massive **** off truck things, you get to spend time with a nice chap that was in the SAS, clay pidgeon shooting, and firing a flintlock musket.

I had fun, enjoyed the day. Although to be fair i think i enjoyed the supercar racing more tanks were still a damn good laugh

I went to a tank driving day at Duxford some years back (just off Jct 10 M11) - was a really good day. Depends where and what the circuit is like as to whether you'll really enjoy it or not.
Recommend it !!

hi, we had an excellent day on saturday, i can recommend this. Dave who owns the tanks was great and my girlfriend loved it. it's not commercial at all just driving round a big field. she drove an armoured personel carrier and a chieftan battle tank, 55 tonnes, 19 litres, 750+ bhp and 4 gallons to the mile! (yep 4 to the mile not the other way round). makes my my00 seem economical,
